Through lessons in philanthropy, leadership, business organization, and teamwork, we were given the skills to change the world as we had always wanted to.

I learned things at 15 that people don’t learn in their life.

One of the things that really drew me to YouthRoots was the confidence in teenagers' capabilities. I loved the autonomy that we get in determining how we can help our community grow and how to accomplish it. It's so nice that someone is willing to trust and believe in us!

One of the biggest things I got out of YouthRoots is a greater appreciation of the community I am part of and striving to give back to the community that has given me so much.

YouthRoots is a board of teens dedicated towards making change in their community, striving to become better leaders in order to direct their passion towards issues among youth in the community and make the change they envision.

I love that everything is real: real pitches, real businesses, real grants and real change. It's not just a class or a simulation.

YouthRoots’ ability to catalyze the potential in our community is what the world needs. Youth aware of community issues, youth assured of their ability to impact, and youth dedicated to listen and take initiative in solving the issues is the secret uncovered by the program.

YouthRoots does not refer just to solving the root issues of our community, but to the importance of us—the youth in the world.
